Breanna Nichelle is a photographer and visual storyteller based in Brooklyn, NY.
Her work blends portraiture, documentary, and cinematic language to capture people with care and intention. With a focus on intimacy, presence, and emotional depth, Breanna’s images reflect a deep commitment to truth, memory, and visual storytelling.
Prior to returning to photography full-time, she served as a Photo Editor at Essence Magazine, where she curated imagery that celebrated Black culture and identity. Her practice now spans editorial portraiture, high-end behind-the-scenes and event coverage, motion portraits, and unit stills for film and television.
Breanna has photographed for clients such as ESSENCE, Google Pixel, Foot Locker, and Equator Studios, and her work has been exhibited in gallery spaces across New York.
